2011 Hull Motor Show

Rapid Solicitors sponsored the 2011 Hull Motor Show, which took place at East Park in August and is the biggest show of its type in East Yorkshire.

The show, which attracted 15,000 visitors, raised much-needed funds for Yorkshire children’s cancer charity, Candlelighters.  Established in 1976, Candlelighters is a charity formed and run by parents of children who have or have had cancer, ex-patients and the medical staff who treat them.

Each year, all profits from the show are donated to one specific chosen charity. Previous beneficiaries have been the Daisy Appeal and Dove House Hospice.

The Motor Show itself was a family fun-packed day, with classic cars, modified motors, custom bikes, trucks and scooters and hundreds of cars and motorbikes on display.
