Local motorcycle racer continues with the Rapid Solicitors team

Mike Booth will race under the Rapid Solicitors colours for 2012 with an all new team.
Andy Baldwin from Rapid Solicitors said, “We wanted to keep Mike on board but were unable to provide a ride for him in our primary team, Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki. Mike’s an ‘on the way up’ rider, but the main team has 3 proven championship winning riders and we didn’t want anything affecting our focus on winning the title. Instead, we’re buying a fully prepared race bike from them for use by Mike. Mike has already secured his own team of mechanics for race weekends. It won’t be one of the £175,000 a piece full BSB specification bikes used by the primary team, but Mike should be capable of doing well on it.” Mike Booth said “This is the fourth year of personal support from Rapid and I’m grateful to Rapid for continuing to support me. I’ve had some pretty bad crashes in the last 3 years, which have left me with a broken back and a broken pelvis. Neither were my fault and I’m certain with a bit of luck and an injury free season I’ll be able to repay this continued support with some podium positions.” Mike Booth will compete in the 2012 British Superstock 1000 championship.
