MotoGP preparation hotting up

James Ellison will take the Rapid Solicitors brand worldwide when making his MotoGP return after a five-year absence from the World’s top level of motorbike
racing.
Ellison, 31, won back-to-back European Superstock titles in 2000-2001, aiding his ascent to MotoGP. In total he has started 38 premier class races. Since then he has been a front-runner in Superbike championships in Britain and the USA including a podium finish in this year’s World Supersport championship. Rapid’s Andrew Baldwin said “ It will certainly be a proud moment for everyone involved in Rapid when James first brings our brand to such an audience. To think our business from Hull will be seen on television screens around the world and in such esteemed company is very exciting.
I’ve just spoken to the team and they are busy preparing for testing in January in Sepang, Malaysia. We are not expecting podiums in this first year, but just to be part of something so big is great for us and this region”.
