Rapid Tennis Centre Launched

Rapid Solicitors has formed a partnership with the Tennis Centre based within the Nuffield Health and Fitness Centre in order to promote grass roots and competitive tennis in Hull and East Yorkshire. The organisation will be known as the Rapid Tennis Centre.

Located on Kingston Park near the Odeon Cinema, The Rapid Tennis Centre is the only recognised Lawn Tennis Association Performance Centre in this region. With the backing of Rapid Solicitors, they hope to be one of the few to attain High Performance Centre status, over the next year.

Andrew Good, a partner with Rapid Solicitors said: “The facilities here are excellent and the coaching staff  has had some notable successes, with 10 of their pupils achieving places on the National Aegon Future Stars Programme. We are delighted to support this partnership.”

Tennis Manager, Jenny Loughton, said: “We regularly coach over 300 kids of all abilities, from age 4 upwards.  It’s an excellent and convenient environment in which to have fun and keep fit. You don’t need to be a member to play here, either. Tennis is a very pleasant and sociable game and the skills and experiences learned will last a lifetime. It’s great that Rapid have chosen to join forces with us.”
