Rapid Solicitors joins forces with mother of two for CD
A Hull mum has recorded a CD to raise money for the charity helping her two children live with disabilities. Sharron Nicholle’s son Ethan, seven, suffers from ADHD and has attended the Children’s Centre in Walker Street since he was four. His brother, Harvey, six, has learning difficulties. Sharron, 28, said: “As a single mother, it is a real struggle. Your entire life is held up by hospital appointments. You can’t do a lot of things that other families do.” The idea for a charity CD to help the children’s centre came after Sharron met Hull writer/producer Dave Fox over social networking sit MySpace. The pair began chatting and “really gelled” so decided to work together. Sharron said she was “absolutely overwhelmed” by her producer’s support when she suggested making the CD for the Children’s Centre Fund. The Children’s Centre provides a range of therapies for children with complex needs, as well as offering advice to families about sources of emotional support. A singer/songwriter since her teens, she was a BBC Raw Talent finalist and headlined Hull City Hall with Ministry Of Sound. Hull firm Rapid Solicitors is supporting the pair by funding the first 500 CDs. Andy Baldwin of Rapid Solicitors said: “It’s fantastic to be able to help the Children’s Centre in this way, we urge people to buy a copy of the CD.” Click here to view Sharrons website
